itrans-fonts software package provides Extra fonts used in the ITRANS Indic text processing system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install itrans-fonts
itrans-fonts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the itrans-fonts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep itrans-fonts *
You will get with itrans-fonts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
